Library Lovers - introduction to the world of mushrooms

Event description

Simon Kurieta is a mushroom cultivator and educator who runs MycoCasa, a local urban mushroom farm based in the Perth Hills.

In this program, Simon will explore the role of fungi in the ecosystem, discuss the basics of growing mushrooms, and give an overview of common gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.

Please book in as spaces are limited. 

Please note that this program is suitable for ages 18+, and is a workshop without hands-on activities. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
