Heatwave alert

A heatwave alert has been declared for the Perth metropolitan area until Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

All libraries are open as usual and have water available for vulnerable community members.

Prohibited burning period has started

The City of Swans Prohibited burning period commenced on December 1, 2024 and runs to March 31, 2025. All burning is prohibited including garden refuse and campfires.
Public holiday opening hours

Please note that the City of Swan Administration Building and public libraries will be closed on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The following facilities will remian open on the public holiday with modified hours.

Swan Active:
- Midland: 7am - 6pm
- Beechboro: 8am - 5pm
- Ballajura: 8am - 5pm

Event description

A drop-in creative zone to celebrate all things ocean! Using a range of materials, you can create an underwater world, from sea creatures to plants or underwater scenes.

Please book in as spaces are limited.

Please note that if your child is attending a library program at Dayton Family Hub, you are required to stay for the duration of the program.

This program is suitable for children of all ages and their parent/carer and is a workshop.

Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Booking is not required but please register for updates.
