One of the most important things for any club is obtaining grants and funding. There are a variety of grants available to fund facility upgrades, lighting projects and community events, as well as increase overall participation.

Community Sporting Recreation Facility Funds
The Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) and Club Night Lights Program (CNLP) are funding programs offered by the State Government to assist the development of basic sporting infrastructure with a focus on increasing physical activity in the community.
The program aims to increase participation in sport and recreation, with an emphasis on physical activity, through rational development of sustainable, good quality, well-designed and well-used facilities.
The CSRFF program and CNLP represent partnership opportunities for community organisations to work with the City and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) – each contributing one third to the total project cost.
KidSport
KidSport is a program administered by the DLGSC which makes it possible for eligible children to participate in community sport by offering up to $300 to each child per calendar year towards club registration fees.

Applicants can apply for between $500-$750 to contribute towards the costs of attending their championships.
Applicants must check their eligibility before submitting an application.
The Australian Sports Foundation
The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) is the only deductible gift recipient for sport in Australia.
