Councillor bio
Elected in 2015, Cate has been a part of the local community for over eighteen years. Aside from Council duties, Cate is Chair of Ellenbrook Community Collective.
"Being an integral part of a key community group gives me the ability to see the strengths, concerns and areas for growth in our community. From here, I can advocate for various needs, push for change and help to nurture a greater sense of community.
"Our community is unique and full of amazing local people who want to help make it even better. If I can help with that, then I know that I'm doing my job and making a difference!"
Cate is passionate about building community capacity and empowering others to dare to take the lead in various community ventures.
